01 / The role

Open the next chapter of employee benefits.

You’ll identify where Tendr can make a meaningful difference across the UK pensions, insurance and employee benefits landscape. The role combines new partnership development with expansion of relationships at large existing government, wider public sector and private sector organisations. You’ll also help test and build our route into Europe and the United States, working closely with leadership and product as we bring practical AI into the sector.

Our technology already serves over 3 million people in the UK. You’ll help us reach the next 3 million.

02 / What you’ll do

Your work will include

  • Develop a focused pipeline of opportunities across pension providers, insurers, employers, advisers and benefits organisations.
  • Grow relationships with large existing government, wider public sector and private sector organisations, finding where AI can improve benefits administration and employee experience.
  • Represent Tendr at relevant conferences, roundtables and industry events, turning conversations into well-qualified next steps.
  • Shape proposals and partnership plans with leadership, product and delivery teams, from discovery through commercial agreement and launch.
  • Research and validate routes into European and US markets, including local partners, buyer needs and practical barriers to entry.
03 / About you

You’ll probably thrive here if

  • A track record building strategic B2B partnerships or commercial relationships in pensions, insurance, benefits or adjacent financial technology.
  • Credibility with senior decision-makers in large organisations and confidence navigating longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Commercial judgement: you can distinguish a promising introduction from a partnership that will create lasting value.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and follow-through, including comfort speaking at industry events.
  • Curiosity about applied AI and the ability to explain its practical value without overpromising.
04 / Useful extras

Good to have

  • An established network in UK pensions, insurance or public sector employee benefits.
  • Experience opening new international markets, particularly Europe or the United States.
